Sixteenth Street Mall

The 16th Street Mall in Denver is a mile long walk with restaurants, shopping and attractions. It was designed by I.M. Pei. In 2023 the mall is being updated and revitalized but the shops and attractions are still open. The promenade is made of grey, red & white granite and it resembles the skin of a rattlesnake.

There is currently free shuttle buses that travel up and down the mall stopping on every corner so you can hop on and off. They arrive every few minutes which makes moving around very convenient. There are currently 42 open air cafes, a multitude of different shopping options and twelve movie theaters. After the sun sets there are horse drawn carriages and almost a million lights in the 200 plus trees that line the promenade.
